To Cast a Deadly Spell

from The Montauk Kimono Club by Aaron Bowen

/

about

This is a track I co-wrote with a great friend Jody Mulgrew inspired by Hp Lovecraft about the manipulation of art, music and photography that is so prevalent now being purists we believe let it be and let it breath

lyrics

Strange days in LA
Everyone's using magic to get their way
but not I i'm that old fashion type
light and laughter sweet and sage
till he darkling day expires

CHORUS
Then she cast that deadly spell on me
now I've fallen into a dream

Beautiful hardly all that it once was
since you cast your shadow all I see now are stars
as LA breaks into the golden dawn
the scarlet woman blushing brighter than the scaring sun
you the even I the odd becoming one \

CHORUS
Then she cast that deadly spell on me
now I've fallen into a dream
Then she cast that deadly spell on me
now I've fallen into a dream
